Amandus short film festival 2011

This have been a busy week. First I get two films nominated to Screentest National Student film festival. And, today I get a call from the norwegian youth short film festival, Amandus, and they have nominated “Every Me” for this years Amandus prize and also for the music video category.

Out of 256 films sent in 27 films will be nominated and “Every me” was one of the lucky once!

The festival have been hold for 24 years and this is what they say about the festival:

“The festival was established in 1987 and organized by The Norwegian Film Institute for many years. Over the last 11 years the festival has taken place in Lillehammer, and is now an independent festival closely linked to Lillehammer University College, The local cinema and the region with financial support from national, official sources and some private organisations. The festival is focusing on young filmmakers under the age of 23, and their own film expressions. The aims of Amandus are to stimulate young filmmakers to make more and better films, to enable them to use moving images when telling a story or expressing opinions – in the end to stimulate freedom of expression.”

So again, wish me luck!
