Then we were back to Screentest the National Student Film Festival 2012. Last year I was so lucky to win Best Music video 2011. And I have just been informed that this year I have two films screening at the festival!
Screentest: The National Student Film Festival is dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of aspiring British talent. Founded at Bristol University in 2004 it has become an important platform for student filmmakers in celebrating of the very best in student filmmaking from around the country. In 2011 Screentest made the move to London to enhance its national status and reach both in the film industry and the student population and was met with fantastic response – both record submissions and record attendance.
My film “Room 311” is being screened in the Thriller/Horror category. Also “Sumoun” is being screened in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category.
The festival will be held in London South Bank University over the weekend 23rd – 25thMarch. So if you want to have a look at a lot of good films take a trip to Screentest.
Now here you can have a look at the films that are screened.
I am also happy to congratulate Mike Thorn with his films “Man in a Room” & “Homicide 35” , Tom Perou with his music video “Marmazets – The Prefect Beverage”, Babak Jani with his film “It is Winter“, Lewis Morris with his film “Anthem for a Doomed Youth” and Ellys Donovan with her films “The Grown Up Date” & “There´s No Place Like Work“.
These are all very talented filmmakers, that I am glad to have been in the same class with. Good luck all of you, hope some of us get nominated at the festival!
